Terms of Service

Service Description

This site provides educational content about mold remediation and connects consumers to independent licensed contractors who perform mold inspection, testing, and remediation work in Los Angeles County. Submitting a callback request through this site initiates a phone consultation; subsequent service is contracted directly between the consumer and the licensed contractor performing the work.

No Warranty on Third-Party Work

This site does not directly perform mold inspection, testing, or remediation. Independent licensed contractors retained by the consumer perform all work and carry their own licensing, insurance, and warranty obligations. This site makes no warranty regarding the work performed by third-party contractors.

Accuracy of Information

Content on this site reflects general industry standards (IICRC S520, ACAC framework, NADCA ACR) and Los Angeles-specific patterns documented in published references. The information is educational and does not constitute professional advice for any specific property or situation. Always obtain a written scope and quote from a licensed contractor before authorizing any remediation work.

Cost Estimates and Calculators

Cost ranges and calculator outputs on this site are scenario-based estimates derived from LA County market data. Final pricing follows on-site inspection, IICRC S520 condition determination, and containment-level scoping by the contractor performing the work. Estimates are not quotes and do not constitute an offer.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, this site, its operators, and content contributors disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, or actions taken based on site information.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute arising from use of this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Dispute Resolution

Disputes related to site content or callback service should be raised first by email to [email protected]. We will attempt good-faith resolution within 30 days. Subsequent unresolved disputes may proceed through small-claims court or binding arbitration at the choice of the consumer.
